Turn on Pop Up Blocker
If you are using Google Chrome, you can turn on pop up blocker by default. If you don’t want to receive these annoying advertisements, you can add multiple locations and set exceptions. To do this, go to the Settings menu and click on Content Settings. Once there, select Block Pop-up windows. You’ll need to accept the disclaimer that pop-ups are permitted from certain sites.
Using the “ellipsis” icon in the top right corner of your web browser, click on the drop-down arrow and select Google Settings. If you’re using Maestro or Buzz, you should turn on pop-up blocker by enabling the pop-up blocker option in the browser’s preferences. Then, click on the “Advanced settings” button. On the next screen, click the “Content Settings” button. Ensure that the option says Allow all sites to display pop-ups, and check the box next to Don’t block any site.

- Select the option you want as your default setting.
If you’re using Google Chrome, you can enable pop-up blocker by enabling its extension. First, go to Settings and then click on the Site settings. Toggling the “Block pop-ups” option will disable all pop-ups on the web. This is the default setting. Nevertheless, you can change it manually. When you make changes to the extensions, you must uncheck them.
