How to Set Up Personal Hotspot on Your iPhone

How to set up Personal Hotspot on your iPhone is as simple as enabling Wi-Fi on your device. To do this, open the Wi-Fi menu in the upper right part of the menu bar or swipe down from the taskbar. Click on the Wi-Fi icon, then select Settings. Now tap the Wi-Fi button to enable Personal Host. When it’s enabled, tap on the WiFi icon in the top left corner of your screen.

You’ll need an iOS 8 or an iPhone running iOS 8.0 or later and Bluetooth or Wi-Fi turned on. You can use your iPhone to create a personal hotspot, too. For Mac users, you’ll have to choose your Personal Hotspot device and change its password. If you don’t know the password, consult your manual. Then, click the settings button, and then tap the cellular or Wi-Fi settings option Google.


You can turn on and off the personal hotspot on your iPhone with the touch of a button. To turn it on, first ensure that your phone has at least two bars on the top right. Then, swipe the top down and bottom up to open Control Center. Look for the section with Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth icons. Then, select the Personal Hotspot icon and tap the toggle next to it.

Once you have created a Personal Hotspot, you can easily make it discoverable on other devices using a Wi-Fi network. Then, make sure that your phone has a Bluetooth connection with other devices. If your phone doesn’t have service, you can still use the Personal HOTSpot function on your iPhone. You can also select Wi-Fi connections if you don’t have service. Just make sure to trust the computer if you want to enable Personal HiSpot.

You should now be able to share your internet connection with other devices. Your iPhone will not be able to share the internet with other devices if you don’t have service. Fortunately, you can set up a Personal Hotspot on your iPhone by enabling Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Then, you can choose to share your connection with other devices. If you don’t have service, you’ll need to connect other devices to your phone.

How Do I Setup a Personal Hotspot On My iPhone:

You can turn on Personal Hotspot on your iPhone by enabling Wi-Fi. In most cases, you can enable it by contacting your wireless provider. Alternatively, you can toggle on and off Personal-Host in the Control Center. Once you’ve activated your phone’s Wi-Fi, you can now set up your iPhone to use the Personal-Host feature. This feature will also allow other devices to connect to your network.

To turn on Personal-Host, tap on the device’s name and then tap on the name of your network. You can change the password by tapping the “Change Password” icon on your phone. You can also change the name of your network from your iPhone to avoid confusion. Your iPhone’s network name is the same as the one used by the Personal-Hostspot app. You can turn on your phone when you’re not using it, but remember to turn it off before you leave.

iPhone Personal Hotspot Not Working:

After setting up your network, turn on Personal-Hostspot in Control Center. In the Control Center, click on the Personal-Hostspot icon. Then, select “Allow Others to Join Your Hotspot” to allow other devices to connect to your hotspot. If you’ve enabled this feature on your iPhone, you can change the Wi-Fi Password and name.

Using the Control Center, toggle Personal-Hostspot on your iPhone. You can also enable Personal-Hostspot using Wi-Fi. To enable it, tap the icon in the Connectivity tab. Once you’ve turned on Personal-Host, turn on Wi-Fi, and then choose Allow Others to Join. Once your phone is connected to your network, it will be able to send and receive messages.

Configure Personal Hotspot Settings:

  1. On the Home screen, press Settings> General> About.
  2. Tap Name to change the name of a personal hotspot for your iPhone.
  3. Touch About> General> Settings to return to the main settings list.

After setting up your Personal-Hostspot, you’ll need to give permission to others to join your network. When you’re on the road, allow others to connect to your hotspot. It will be a part of your Wi-Fi connection. If you’re using it as a hotspot, make sure you’re sharing the same Wi-Fi password with other devices.
