This feature sends an alert to the meeting host whenever someone raises their hand during the meeting. Raising your hands is a great way to give the meeting host input and feedback, but it’s also useful if you want to request to speak up when you’ve been muted. In order to enable raise hand in Zoom, all you need to do is follow these steps.


First, you’ll need to install Zoom for your computer. This app requires a full version of Microsoft Google Windows. Unlike other apps, it doesn’t require a free trial. To download Zoom for free, you can visit the Zoom website. Once you’re logged in, you’ll see the toolbar on the bottom. Click on the ‘Raise Hand’ button to access this feature. You’ll need to have at least version 5.4.7.

In order to enable raise hand in Zoom for your meetings, click the toolbar on your computer’s screen. On your mobile device, tap the ‘Participants’ tab. You’ll then see a little blue hand icon next to each participant’s name. You can also enable raise hand in Zoom for your mobile device by clicking on the same icon. The process is similar to that for the desktop version.

The raise hand option will be available only if you’re not the meeting host. If you’re the one who needs to raise your hand, you can do this by tapping on the “Reactions” tab at the top of your screen. You can then press the ‘Raise Hand’ button to indicate your question or comment. Once enabled, you’ll be notified about the answer by the meeting host.

To enable raise hand in Zoom, you can choose to enable or disable the option in the meeting. To enable it, go to the Settings menu, select Participants, and then select Raising Hand. In the participant’s list, you’ll see a list of all the participants in the meeting. To disable the feature, go to the Settings tab, and click on the ‘Reduce Hand’ button. To enable raise hand in Zoom, make sure you have the latest version of Zoom. The mobile app has a slightly different interface. To enable the feature, click the three dots at the bottom of the screen. If you have the same option in Zoom on the desktop, you can simply click it on the mobile version. On the other hand, if you don’t have the same problem in Zoom on your mobile, you’ll have to visit the Zoom website to enable the feature.

Once you’ve lowered your hand, you can manually raise it at any time during a Zoom meeting. To enable this feature, simply go to the Zoom desktop app and click the ‘Reactions’ button. In the ‘Reactions’ menu, click the “Lower Hand” option and choose ‘Raise Hand’. In case you’re using the mobile app, you can click the ‘Reactions’ button on the right of the screen to control the options for the participants.

  1. “Response” is the fifth option from the bottom left of the screen.
  2. Click “Raise Hand” under the emoji list.
  3. Raise your hand by selecting the top option in this menu.

The first step is to tap the Reaction icon and then tap the Raise Hand option. This will take you to the Reactions tab, where you’ll find the raised hand option. Alternatively, you can click on the ‘Reactions’ tab. This feature allows you to give nonverbal feedback to your participants by lifting their hands. Then, simply touch the ‘Raise Hand’ icon again to lower it.
