How to Enable Outlook 2022 Dark Mode

One of the most common questions I get from users is how to enable Outlook dark mode. It’s a very simple process. First of all, you need to open the Outlook app. Once the app is open, go to Preferences and then to the General tab. Toggle between the light and dark modes by clicking the button on top. To switch back and forth between light and dark mode, simply click the lightbulb icon. To return to light mode, click on the same button. You can then toggle between light and dark mode by clicking the lights icon Google. Once you’ve enabled dark mode, you can turn on the light mode again. It’s really as simple as that! Once you’ve switched between the two, it’s as simple as reverting back to colored mode.

The dark mode is only available in the new modern Outlook experience. You can enable it now by clicking the Settings cog in the upper right corner and choosing the Dark Mode option. It’s recommended that you use this feature regularly if you want to avoid eye strain. When you’ve finished browsing your email, you can turn it off for any email.
